Saturday morning NASA launched their next generation Mars rover from Cape Canaveral atop an Atlas-V rocket. Named the Mars Science Laboratory with it’s rover Curiosity, the spacecraft will land at the base of a 3 mile high mountain inside Gale Crater in August 2012 to continue with science & exploration where her cousin’s Spirit & Opportunity left off
