Yesterday, November 23rd, 2011, from 12-2 PM, a group of Egyptians in Columbus, Ohio demonstrated on the sidewalk in front of the Ohio State University Union in solidarity with the Egyptian people. The demonstration was a silent demonstration to honor the brave men and women who risk and have given their lives to protect Egyptians’ human and democratic rights. Although the demonstration was organized in the morning of the event, it still received a presence of about 20-30 people who ranged from professors and students to members of the local Egyptian community.
